Find and choose relevant reports on the Store

Learn how to find the right report for your business needs on the Mintel Store.

Mintel Reports cover a range of global markets. Depending on the report type, you may see coverage for markets such as the US, UK, China, Germany, Brazil, Canada, India and Thailand.

Read this article to understand how you can find interesting reports on the Mintel Store, check what they include, and choose the report that best matches your needs.

Find a report on the Mintel Store

To access the Mintel Store, type store.mintel.com into your browser's address bar.

📌 Note: Most of our reports are written in English. Some reports are also available in German via the German Store at https://store.mintel.com/de.

On the Store website, select the Industry you're interested in from the drop-down in the centre of the page. Depending on the industry you selected, you can then select a Sub-industry to narrow it down further, and/or select a country from the Market drop-down. Then click on Search to see a list of relevant reports.

You'll land on a site where you can scroll down and apply filters on the left side of the page to narrow down the list of reports even further to the relevant Demographic, Report Type and/or Year. The more filters you apply, the shorter the list of matching reports will be, making it easier to find what you need. If you've changed your mind, you can also reset the filters on the left to readjust the Industry and Market you're interested in.

If you already know exactly what you want, you can also use the keyword search by clicking on 🔍 in the top right corner of the Store. Then enter the topic you're interested in into the search bar on the right. As you type, a list of matching reports will appear underneath the search bar. Scroll through to find the right report, and then click on the report's title to learn more about that particular report.

💡 Tip: When using the keyword search, enter highly specific keywords to make your results more relevant. For example, search for a particular product category, consumer group, product feature or trend.

Check whether a report is right for you

Once you're on the summary page for a specific report, review the Report Summary and the Table of Contents to understand what the report covers. Make sure to also check the publication year in the report title. Most of our reports are updated annually, although timings vary by market.

💡 Tip: You can also click on Download Report Summary underneath the Table of Contents to take away the report summary brochure from the report page as a PDF document.

Carefully read all of the information on the summary page to check whether the report includes the information you need, eg data analysis, consumer insights and forecasts based on historical and current trends.

Understand what Mintel reports include

Reports are created by Mintel analysts using sources such as proprietary survey data, consumer panels, public datasets and industry research. They may include market analysis, consumer insights, forecasts and appendices with additional detail.

💡 Tip: Learn more about our methodology by reading this article. You can also find it by clicking on Methodology on each report summary page on the Store.

If you need bespoke research or consulting beyond published reports, click on Chat with our Team on the summary page, or contact us via the help button on the bottom right of any Store page to discuss your requirements.

Choose what you want to buy

Once you are sure that the market, industry and year of a report meet your requirements, decide whether to buy just the individual report or arrange wider subscription access.

A single report purchase gives you access to that one specific report, while a subscription gives you broader access to multiple reports and ongoing updates. If you are unsure which option is right for you, contact our team via the help button on the bottom right of the page. They can help you confirm whether a report or a subscription matches your needs.
