📌 Note: While most Mintel webinars are open to everyone, some sessions are invite-only due to their specialised focus. These invite-only webinars are typically hosted by a specific Mintel contact who manages the session. If you experience issues accessing an invite-only webinar, try the troubleshooting steps outlined below. If you then need further support with this kind of webinar, please reach out to the designated Mintel contact for that webinar.
Sign up for a webinar
Once you’ve registered for a Mintel webinar, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all details on how to join the live session. You might also receive a reminder email closer to the event. The webinar link usually remains inactive until approximately one hour before the session begins.
📝 Example: The email below is sent when you register via the Mintel website but it may differ if you're attending an invite-only webinar.
Watch a webinar on demand
Don’t worry if you weren’t able to make it to the live session – we record most webinars so that you can watch them another day. To watch a webinar you’ve missed, click on Join the Event in the follow-up email that we send you after any webinar you were registered for.
📌 Note: While most webinars are available to watch at anytime, invite-only webinars can be viewed on demand for up to 120 days after the live session.
Join a webinar when it happens
On the day of the webinar, open your confirmation or reminder email, or your calendar invitation, and click on Join the Event. If the webinar has not yet started and the link appears inactive, return closer to the scheduled start time, as links typically become active around one hour before the event.
Troubleshooting
Where to find the webinar link
Each webinar has its own registration page, and the link is shared as part of the invitation or promotional message for that specific event. If a link is not immediately visible, this is usually because the join link only becomes active around one hour before the webinar starts, or because it is included in your confirmation email or calendar invitation rather than on a general events page.
If you have checked your invitation, confirmation email, and calendar invite and you're still unable to locate the link, the next step is to contact the organiser or reach out to us via the help button located on the bottom right of most Mintel pages.
What to do when the link isn't working
If the join link does not open, or the page does not load correctly, try a hard refresh by pressing CTRL + F5 or CTRL + R (Windows) or ⌘ + Shift + R (Mac) at the same time. If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps
What to do if the webinar does not start
If the webinar does not begin at the scheduled time, wait a few minutes, as sessions may occasionally start slightly late while the final setup is completed. Refresh the join page, as the session may have just gone live.
If the webinar still does not start after several minutes, there may be a temporary platform or hosting issue. In most cases, a recording is still made available after the event so you can watch the webinar later.
